Too tall to be who he claimed to be

March 5, 2007, 11:18 PM
An officer spotted a burgundy 2005 Nissan Altima with illegally tinted windows heading north on Kenilworth at 19th. The driver, when stopped, said he was "Filemone Reyes". However, the LEADS system told the officers that Mr Reyes was 5 foot 5; the driver looked far taller. The vehicle was registered to 21-year-old Jesus Sandoval of Cicero, 5 feet 11 inches tall. When the discrepancy was pointed out to him, the driver admitted he really was Jesus Sandoval and had given a friend's name initially. He was cited for the windows, driving on a suspended license and obstructing justice by wasting time to begin with pretending to be some other guy.
