An officer saw a male wearing jeans and a gray hoody walking slowly and looking around in the alley of the 1400 block of Kenilworth. He was stopped and frisked. The man produced an ID showing he was Eric Spears, 37, of Chicago. He was found to have two active warrants for arrest: one from Cook County, for violating an order of protection, and one from the North Riverside Police Dept. for driving on a suspended license, so he was arrested.

Traffic stop results in wanted man's arrest

An officer stopped a 2000 Nissan in the 1600 block of Wenonah. The driver, a 28-year-old Chicago man, had no driver's license. The passenger, John Lavine, 23, of Las Cruces New Mexico, proved to have two outstanding warrants from DuPage and Will Counties; he was arrested.
