An officer patrolling in the 6800 block of Windsor saw Becky Jo Smith, age 36, of Freeport, ignore the flashing lights and walk around the lowered railroad safety gates to cross onto the tracks at Oak Park Avenue. The officer stopped her and gave her a ticket for railroad safety violation.

Cicero man goes around the gates at train tracks

An officer at Oak Park and Stanley saw a blue Corolla disobey the flashing lights go around the gates at the train tracks. The driver, a 43-year-old Cicero man, was cited for that and for lacking a license to drive.
