Boys deface, then damage, fence

A man from the 2500 block of Clarence said two boys in dark clothes damaged his rear fence. They used blue marker to write some initials, then broke a fence panel by kicking it. Police did not find the boys. The owner said he would remove the still-wet graffiti himself.

Red graffiti mars white building

The rear of a white-painted brick building in the 6700 block of Cermak was graffiti'ed with large ornate letters on the second floor near the fire escape. Two young males were seeing committing the vandalism at 10 PM on Saturday, March 10, but fled.

Tuesday morning graffiti roundup

Freshly made graffiti was found on garage doors in white spraypaint in the 3800 block of Euclid and the 3700 block of Wesley, as well as on a garage and wooden fence in the 3600 block of Grove. Two garages in the 3600 block of Oak Park Avenue were defaced with white spray paint, which was also used in the 2100 block of Wisconsin to draw a bunch of stuff on a garage and a fence there. The white spraypainters hit a garage in the 3500 block of Euclid and the 3600 block of Kenilworth, too.

Monday afternoon graffiti roundup

Graffiti was found on a garbage can in the 2300 block of Clinton and two garages in the 3700 block of Cuyler. One garage in the 2400 block of Ridgeland got black spraypainted gang scrawls, a second got red and a third lucky resident in the same block was treated to black and red.
