An officer observed a silver Bonneville head east on 14th, ignoring a stopsign. When curbed at 14th and Grove, the driver, a 26-year-old Berwyn man, said he had a suspended driver's license. On the bright side, he did have up-to-date insurance, but still had to be arrested for the above violations.

Wrong way, with audience

A beige 1999 Ford Contour heading south on Scoville ignored a stop at 25th, turned east onto 26th and finally aimed south in the 2500 block of Gunderson. Unfortunately, the driver was now heading the wrong way on a one-way street, and his previous violations had been seen by the officer following him. The driver, 21-year-old Cesar Garcia of Chicago, said he didn't have a license with him. In fact, his license was suspended. He was arrested for all of the above.
