Bongs removed from sale in new Berwyn shop

Detectives responded to a citizen complaint about drug paraphernalia and found five "hookahs" offered for sale on a prominent shelf with price tags in a new shop in the 6500 block of 16th St. The store owner said these were an Arab cultural item; detectives responded that they were commonly used to smoke marijuana and charged him with offering drug paraphernalia for sale.
