A man and his 13-year-old daughter came to Berwyn police to report that a man had tried to grab the child the previous day. The girl was walking home, westbound on 23rd at Oak Park Avenue at about 5:45 PM, when a man approached her from behind, grabbed her arm and touched her buttocks. He then fled on foot; the girl says she could provide information for a composite sketch. The man is described as Hispanic, about 23, 5'9", 140 lb, short black hair, wearing blue jeans and a red Puma brand sweater.

Woman assaulted, molested at own front door

A 19-year-old woman said her boyfriend had just dropped her off at her home in the 1500 block of Grove, when a man approached her from behind at the door of the residence. He grabbed her breast and pulled her down the steps while putting his other hand over her mouth. The victim kicked and got away to call police. The man fled on foot, southbound on Grove. The woman said she could identify him; she described him as Hispanic, in his 20s, 190 lb and about 5'8", possibly with a thin goatee, and wearing a black hoody.

Mystery fist-wielder flees bar after assault

The owner of Checkpoint Sports Bar, 6736 Cermak, called cops when a male Hispanic hit another patron in the head with his fist. The victim, a man age 28, said the suspect struck up an argument with him, hit him in the head and fled the bar.
