An officer saw and heard a maroon 2004 Impala making excessive noise as it traveled west on 16th. Pulling it over in the 6800 block of 16th Street, the officer asked the driver, a Cicero man, whether he knew of Berwyn’s noise ordinance; he admitted he was aware of it. His awareness has been further sharpened by the impounding of the Impala and the imposition of the $500 fine.
