Police answering a call to the 6600 block of Cermak found a 54-year-old Berwyn man saying he was stabbed in an argument with a woman last evening. He also told them he drank all evening long. The knife used in the stabbing was found in the kitchen sink; there was blood on the living room carpet and walls, as well as on the walls and floor of the kitchen. The man altered the story several times. One of the later versions had 1 or 2 guys knocking on his door and attacking him. When asked if the woman he originally accused was ever really there, he said he did not know. The confused man was taken to MacNeal Hospital for treatment of cuts to his face and right arm.
