Malt liquor, cognac make memorable morning drive

March 13, 2007, 8:39 AM
When an officer pulled over a maroon Buick speeding 46 MPH in a 30 zone in the 6300 block of Ogden, the 23-year-old Chicago man driving did not have a seatbelt on and did not have a a license. What he did have was two open bottles of Olde English 800 in the front seat and an open bottle of Remy Martin Grand Cru cognac under the driver's seat. His license proved to be suspended; he was arrested and the car towed.
