A 29-year-old woman in the 2100 block of Clinton called to tell police her boyfriend, age 40, came home from drinking and threatened to choke her. He was angry because the girlfriend's seven-year-old son was still awake. Police arrived and found the boyfriend in the bedroom.
The man admitted drinking and being mad but would not comment about the alleged choking threat. The woman refused to sign a complaint; she was issued a domestic violence packet.
