An officer stopped a 1999 Jeep Cherokee for having an expired registration, then asked the driver, a 22-year-old Cicero man, to step out of the car. The Jeep exuded a powerful odor of cannabis. The man's wife and infant were in the rear seat; the officer noted that the child was not in a proper safety seat. A search of the vehicle revealed several marijuana "roaches" in the ashtray, and the driver turned out to be wanted on a Schiller Park warrant. He also had a suspended license. He was arrested and the car towed.
