A passerby pointed out a broken car window to police in the 6800 block of Roosevelt; the passenger-side window of a 2005 Infiniti was smashed. When the owner was found, he said his navigation system and iPod were missing.

Jeep burgled for TV, cds

Someone broke the side window of a 2000 Jeep Cherokee parked in the 1400 block of Kenilworth, stealing a TV/radio unit and a case containing 45 compact discs.

Car window smashed, but there's not much to steal

Police were called with a report that a 1991 Dodge Caravan parked in the 3400 block of Oak Park Avenue had had its right front window smashed; unknown persons stole CDs and some baby toys from the vehicle.
