A 63-year-old Berwyn man reported a young Chicago man with whom his daughter used to live in Normal, Illinois, gave him an unpleasant surprise by appearing on his doorstep to claim some personal property. The 22-year-old ex-boyfriend showed up accompanied by his father, a 43-year-old also of Chicago. Junior was detained while Berwyn police determined whether there was a warrant out for him; there was not, so he was released into Senior's custody and told to stay away from the ex-girlfriend's family home.
