A concerned citizen reported a suspicious car in the parking lot of the McDonald's at Roosevelt and Harlem; in it were four people doing drugs. An officer approached the 1997 white Neon and saw the driver try to inject his left arm. The car contained two men and two women, all from Sycamore, IL. One woman stated the driver was her husband; the couple and two friends piled into the car and drove to Berwyn to buy heroin. She said they'd paid $100 for drugs from a guy in a black van, then drove to McD's to shoot up. The car was full of drugs and drug equipment, including nine packets of heroin, needles, a glass pot pipe and everything needed to smoke crack. The driver and his wife were charged with felony heroin possession; everyone else, with having drug paraphernalia.
