On patrol with Chief William Kushner, an officer saw and heard an older silver Cadillac, from well over 75 feet away, blasting its stereo. They pulled the Caddy over at Cermak and Oak Park Avenue. Asked whether he knew he had violated Berwyn's noise ordinance, the driver, a 52-year-old man from the 2600 block of Grove, admitted he did. The loud car was silenced and impounded, and the driver ticketed.
