Officers responded to a disturbance at La Aduana, a bar at 6736 Cermak. A 25-year-old Melrose park man said via translator that he was kicked by two Hispanic men in dark hoodies. He showed officers some deep scratches on his belly. The victim said the bar owner knows the attackers but refused to reveal their identities. The owner, a 35-year-old Berwyn man, denied knowing the bad guys and said he was the one who called the police about the attack. The victim was taken to MacNeal Hospital.
