An officer saw a black 2004 Ford Expedition with no front plate and stopped it at Cermak and Clarence. The driver, a 26-year-old woman living in the 1400 block of Clinton, spoke only broken English and had no driver's license or insurance. She carried only a Mexican ID and had her 4-year-old and 6-month-old boys in the back seat. She called her husband to pick up the children when the officer told her she was under arrest. The husband arrived and got mad, telling the officer to go arrest a driver without children. He walked off with the kids, twice refusing a ride home offered by police.
