An 83-year-old woman living in the 3800 block of Wesley reported she was bitten in the left calf by a small white dog which had come from a yard in the 6700 block of Pershing. The bite broke the skin, causing bleeding, swelling and bruising. Police were trying to contact the animal's owner.
