An officer at Oak Park Avenue and 23rd saw a 1993 Honda Civic with an Indiana temporary plate displayed improperly in the back window. After making the driver pull over, the officer looked more closely and saw that "plate" had an expiration date of February 30, 2007, a non-existent date. The driver said his name was Edward Malo, 22, of Berwyn. A computer search showed there is no record of an Illinois driver's license for him. Malo was arrested and received three charges, including driving with no valid driver's license.
