An altercation between two students from Heritage Middle School turned dangerous when school let out on Feb. 22, as one 13-year-old boy apparently stabbed another. The victim is in critical condition. The stabbing occurred a few blocks from the school. The accused attacker has been charged as a juvenile with attempted murder and aggravated battery and is being held by authorities. The offender's aunt appears to have tried to help him leave the scene in her vehicle, but she has not been charged.
